I don't remember ever writing about how important it is to have daily devotions. That is the one thing my father emphasizes the most about the life of a believer. Being in fellowship with God every day is very important. It's like a gas station to fill us up with the fuel we need for that day. It forces us to think about Spiritual things and before long you will find that it is not a burden to do. A prayer life along with reading the Bible is a fantastic setup. Have a nice big sheet of paper where you can write requests.
In Sunday School this week we learned about prayer. The teacher tought from Psalm 42 and 43. In these chapters David just pours his heart out to God and longs to be with God. In short, he seeks God with all his heart. We may look at David and say that he wasn't a godly man because of his sin with Bathsheeba. But that is incorrect. In the Psalms he clearly displays his willingness to serve God and his helplessness without God. We need to do the same, if we truly do seek the Lord, namely in prayer, he rewards that. Many times when we I'm not on fire for God I say, "It's not my fault, I can't make myelf desire God." That is a lousy excuse, it should be, "It is my fault I'm not willing."
It's been 20 years since I entered into the World, currently I'm attending a trade school. I like to do a lot of stuff which include, Computer Generation, Growing in Christ, music and fellowshiping with people (especially with food!)
