Seeking

Are you seeking God? Picture the worst scenario (within reason) would what you value most be lost or endangered? I hope no, that most valued thing should be your glorious relationship with Jesus Christ. Once it's too expensive to do that activity you love most, where will you be? When the family income is lost, will your first love be too? Are you seeking God with all your heart, mind and soul? Will you redevote your life to him now? Will you live each day for God and not yourself, your friends, or your desires? Think about it.

Pharisee and Tax collector

In the parable of the tax collector and the pharisee, we see God's mercy on the tax collector but not the other. Why? This tax collector had probably done more recognizable wicked things than the pharisee, but why does God still forgive him? Even if the pharisee had kept the sabbath and done all the things he said, he still had the worst sin left. Unbelief. We never think of it that way do we? Unbelief is impossible to be made up for, we can't do enough to cover it up.
