Psalms
I think the Psalms were specifically written to be encouragement and praises to God, a place where Christians go when they are discouraged or delighted in the LORD. Recently they have been a great help to me in my daily life. I don't read them along with my devotional time with the LORD but rather when I feel the Spirit move me to do so.

I agree. The book of Psalms is a great place whether you are discouraged or delighted in the Lord. There are so many awesome things that we as followers of Jesus Christ can learn from the Psalms.
