Thought from Psalms 49

Psalm 49:7-8
"No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him- the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough..."

The Pslamist here is pointing out that we cannot save ourselves, this is very similar to the idea of Romans. I didn't know so many important things were in the Old testament. But it has some good truths just like the New does. Next time someone tells you they're earning their way to heaven, include this verse along with verses from the New testament to witness to them.

Hey Keith,
I wanted to let you and your readers know about an urgent issue in the public eye that needs to be prayed about, talked about, and acted upon.
Here's the address to the article I wrote:

I would love if you could make a short post linking to this article, or if you wanted to write a post of your own on the topic. This isn't about my blog gaining popularity: it's about an important issue, including an adorable little girl (Dakota Fanning), who needs protection and prayers.

Yeah, Jonathan, my bro was by there yesterday, I'll put up a post. I did skim the article. Man, if that's in movies now, what will be in them in 10 years?
