2 Samuel 6
2 Samuel 6:16
"As the ark of the Lord was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window. And when she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she despised him in her heart."
Vs. 23
"And Michal daughter of Saul had no childeren to the day of her death."
These two verses show the power of the mind. I often times think something bad about someone and "despise them in my heart". This seems very unharmful. Well to the other person it isn't harmful as much as it is to you. God can allow something very difficult to happen to you just because of your thoughts. Remember this, your thought life is just as important as you actions. Thoughts lead to actions.

regrettingly, i must agree with this through experience. :|
like we hear all the time, the Devil can get a foothold on anything and everything. but too many times, we really don't believe that. it's like, ah he can only get through me through other people or through stuff that actually happens to me. so not true! our thoughts are in just as much danger, all the time. if only we always kept that in mind (no pun intended, haha).
